Barefoot Wrestler

oedipdx, I understand, it is HARD to enjoy PPV in mixed company or when you are not in a private space.  The night’s focus to me, was on Xterms’ matches! Especially his young challenger or rather his young victim of sorts!  I loved the sneak attack he made (and of course his body on display), and his young opponent even turning the tables for a part of the grappling which made it much more interesting and homoerotic!  And topped off by the foot scene! (Yes, for me that was worth rewinding, lol).

I know you like Drew, lol, but personally for me, for someone who indicated he has a wrestling background, I am still waiting to be impressed!  Perhaps BWN will find someone who has the right chemistry with him!

I realize it is difficult to find the right black guys who would one, be interested in wrestling barefoot in trunks and/or naked and then finding the right fit and opponents to create the right chemistry, but those make for the BEST matches, I hear so many craving to see!

The chat is like a focus group and a great source and indicator of what and who will make the hottest wrestling matches and the source of GREAT PPV’s! And the names/individuals not groups/crews allow for more creative matchups, and the names that are buzzing in the chat and blackboard (proof of that is in how many chat guys have taken on their names–which I have bolded), like Jeff Cutts, Pretty Boy Roy, Claymore, Candyman, Storm, Xterminator, Ghost, Tiger, Thrilla, Cubano, Renegade, Romeo, etc.

Examples:  The reason Candyman vs Japan is an all-time favorite, is because it embodied all the elements most of us desire to see and chat about! The chemistry between two hot guys in uninhibited homoerotic grappling, like hot and sweaty aggressive man-sex in the form of wrestling which was INTENSE!  It had the physical, verbal, and exotic elements that ignite most of our primitive urges as gay and bi men!

The response and reaction are similar from those who have seen Strom vs Erotio, vs Xtasy and Inferno!  And so many matches that have the same or similar elements in them.  And for most I believe it will be those same elements that will determine the more popular matches in the PPV!

oedopdx, I totally agree! I feel confident in saying that at least 90% of us that come (excuse the pun, but appropriate!) to BWN, BWN/Chat, have an expectation of the wrestling as homoerotic in nature!  So, although we want the wrestling to look real, not fake, and in many cases to appear competitive–because part of the turn on is to see hot and sweaty (even though we don’t get the pleasure of smelling the manscent of the mansweat!) –as one person dominating the other or dominating each other, in man-to-man wrestling, and/or plenty of give and take, unless it is a squash match!

We also really want to see chemistry between the guys wrestling erotic or competitive!  That is why wrestling matches like Storm vs Erotico, Xtasy, Bishop, Inferno, Cubano (where the chemistry was hot and all were visibly aroused); Candyman vs Japan, Tiger vs Roy; even the Funk and Black Box series, are examples that show BWN at its best and most erotically intense!

I enjoy Willy normally like with him and Storm, but the chemistry was not really there with him and Snake, who has become really sexy!  Whereas Boot Camp Boy vs Xterminator was really nice!

You like Drew and Claymore–who we both know normally shows intense sexual aggression in his boxing and wrestling, but not with Drew for whatever reason???  The chemistry was not there for Storm and Titus?  But XL and Juice, in so many of Candyman’s matches, and so many others when matched with the right hook up!

Yeah Bond_788, that would be hot!  Elijah and Candyman wrestling naked was hot too!

My bad! I do remember seeing this match years ago!  I enjoyed the wrestling in the bathroom space and them wrestling out of their clothes.  I also remember thinking Asante needed more of a challenge, someone to give him more of a run for his money!  Someone to turn the tables. put him in a full nelson and pin, ride him (Asante did have a nice ass) face down as he struggled to escape.

I do think BWN did more individual one on one storylines back then which I like.  Like the three-way storyline between Bishop, Storm and Erotico, that came to a head with the hot and sweaty grapple between Storm and Erotico to settle things in the empty apartment, that had the intense build up leading them to a very hot and masculine lock up and tie up and tangling of bodies thrashing for the upper hand!  It was an erotically intense and aggressive man tussle with both getting sweaty and turned on!

Or the two thug brothers on the couch talking trash and one word leads to another and the wrestle is on as they grapple out of their clothes!

More of the classic BWN matches took place in empty apartments, hotel rooms, Etc., which added to the storylines, and I could identify with.  The erotic tension is intense when you hook up to meet up in a hotel room, someone’s home, apartment, etc., whether you come together or you meet them there!

Oh sorry back to Asante, it is a shame he did not wrestle more!

Willy is good at combining wrestling and eroticism that is sexy to watch!  I hope he will be pitted against other BWN wrestlers who match his chemistry.

Have not heard anything on him, sorry!  Sounds like he was hot!
