- Which matches were fan favorites, which were the most competitive, most erotic, and which ones fell short, which wrestlers were the highlights, etc.
THANKS OEDIPDX! I really appreciate you always keeping me in the loop when I miss chat! I missed being there, I missed you guys, but I was a little under the weather, still I had the thrill of the chat/PPV in the back of my mind! I think I mentioned during the chat how turned on I got a while back when the Host for PPV Wes shared a very erotically intense wrestling encounter he had with a straight friend of his, that certainly got a RISE out of me hearing it! Yes, Assassin checks many of the BWN boxes, Champ, Beefy, Competitive, Beatdown, and now Mature! It is hard to see the clips for all his matches though, because I thought his match with Coach was hot, and his fully clothed in suits match. He did a number of hot and sweaty matches with BWN!
Interesting topic, but just wondering if anyone has checked out the many wrestling videos, sites that offer interracial wrestling?!! If so what and where? For example, I have run across many videos and wrestling sites when searching for Black vs Black wrestling (which keeps bringing me back to BWN). S0 just wonder if everyone is aware, what you mention here, is available on the net. While much of what BWN offers is not or hard to find (and when you do find Black vs Black on the internet, lol, IT IS from BWN!)

· Old Reliable featured interracial wrestling,

· MuscleDomtv, features two muscular Latinos wrestling,
· On Top, features Black vs White, Black vs Latino,
· Can-Am, interracial wrestling,
· Movimus Wrestling, features a lot of interracial wrestling matches

Keith sounds like another vote for a spin-off from BWN! A men of color site would be cool. Still BWN is the only black on black wrestling site, and it is unique, popular and special because of its content; and as several of us indicated, adding other non-black wrestlers would put BWN at risk of having its 20 year primary purpose high jacked!
If anything were to happen, a spin-off sounds like it would be the best solution to leave BWN intact, and suggestions like yours could be featured there! The thing is, would enough people support it and pay for the custom match requests suggested here? Just wondering.
I agree, there are thousands of white wrestling videos available, and most of the wrestling sites are designed to provide white guys wrestling, which is cool. The white mainstream sites/videos feature Asian, Latino, etc. BWN (Black Wrestling Network) should remain, the same. Wrestling for other men of color should, if it were to happen, would be best as a separate spin-off, not included in BWN, so that as jtphoenix indicated, BWN doesn’t get “hi-jacked” from its original and primary purpose.
The suggestions are cool for a spin off. BWN has done some only fan spin offs for bondage, etc., so perhaps the same can be done for the suggestions here! In providing for the suggestions, I wonder if many of the new videos on the net that show increasing Asian vs Asian wrestling, as well as white guys vs guys of all colors and races have been checked out? For example, Wes stated, “Def would love to see a cocky white or Latin wrestler get in a match and get taught a lesson in humility.” Many of these matches can be found on UCW, Naked Kombat, and others.
The suggestion from Bond to start a new company for other matches of color is good, if the market supports it, is a great idea.
BWN spends a lot of time and energy coordinating black vs black wrestling, and I would imagine a spin off for Latin and/or Asian men would increase the difficulty to find wrestlers to keep it going. Especially when Asian men rarely wrestle nonwhite or other Asian men, and rarely wrestle Black or Latino men. And Latino men don’t do many wrestling videos. Question: Should the same suggestions, request be made of white mainstream wrestling sites (BG East, Oh Top, UCW, etc.)? Especially when mainstream has the resources to provide Asian, Latino content?
WOW! Great to see Wes as guest host! He should be a guest on chat at some point as well! I still recall his very erotic personal story and wrestling encounter with a straight buddy of his on the roof top! His telling of how they had been drinking (something a lot of brothers use to let their inhibitions that they secretly want, out) and the intense chemistry erupted in them ending up in a wrestling encounter that had them both rock hard! oedipdx, I totally agree! With so many hot wrestlers, sexy bodies, hot matches, and sexy storylines, it is HARD to decide by a group. So many men from the different crews deserve their own individual acknowledgement, attention, and respect! I only chose Candyman’s Crew because of Candyman, LOL!
Me personally, I am less into the crews and much more into the individual wrestlers! Sadly, one of the down sides of the crews, is that it robs us of getting to see some wrestlers within crews who would make for very hot match ups against each other wrestle!
jtpoenix03, LOL, I am not sure if I am supposed to respond to your inquiry since I am Black, lol. I guess you are saying you are also Black and wondering?
I am guessing, you may not get many responses to this inquiry (smile) because I imagine some would rather not reveal their color. From enjoying the Friday chats, there are guys of different races and colors in the chat room every week and the subject rarely comes up.
One suggestion buddy, I find people tend to open up more when we first share our story/experience. So maybe if you share what is the BWN appeal or draw for you regarding wrestling?
I know for me, my first exposure to wrestling was through professional wrestling and there were very few black or men of color wrestling, so my first images of wrestlers were White males. Even as I was drawn to wrestling scenes in Gladiator and Tarzan movies, again they were white guys. But my strong desire from the image of two masculine males locked up grappling became the primary focus.
Growing up most of the people I grew up with were black and at first that is all I wrestled with (you know boys seem to naturally end up wrestling), but to be honest, as I got older it was a struggle to find other adult black guys who would admit they were turned onto/into wrestling. As I became more drawn to the feeling of eroticism I got from wrestling, I searched wrestling sites, companies from Old Reliable, BG Enterprise, BG East, On Top, etc., but few offered two black males wrestling each other, so that is why BWN.
Even though I had not had many interactions with white guys growing up, I was even more consumed with the desire to find another male to wrestle! The first thing in my search for wrestling was an ad I found in the Advocate gay newspaper looking to wrestle ended up being a Latino/Hispanic from Mexico. He was my first adult wrestling encounter. He even introduced me to oil wrestling. I then joined a wrestling club, but out of the 200 men listed I was one of three black guys, and one of the black guys did not want to wrestle other black guys (?) The other black guy, sadly did not live near me, but we did talk on the phone. So, my first time wrestling a white guy was from that club. It took me a long time, and lots of research to connect with other black guys into wrestling, and who were close enough to hook up for a match. But my passion and desire for wrestling convinced me to wrestle with Asian guys, guys from India (who love wrestling) and of course white guys. As I did, and bond with all types over our desire for wrestling, many of my white contacts told me of other black guys to meet (smile). Not sure my response is even touching on what you were asking non-blacks, LOL. But that was why I am interested in BWN because it is one of the only sources of seeing black guys wrestle, and to chat with others who enjoy watching brothers wrestle!
