Barefoot,  I have loved reading all these genuine and insightful comments.  Definitely makes me feel like this is a real community—-people share honestly without fear of being dismissed or ridiculed.  I have been thinking about the question of why we love wrestling so much.  Somehow,  because it is such a primal desire,  it’s hard to put into words.  I think about being a kid and watching our local indie wrestling promotion in Portland Oregon when I was a grade school kid.  I was about as naive and repressed as I could get.  I’d lie on my stomach on my parent’s wall-to-wall carpeting watching those pros going at each other.  All sorts of body types; big hairy bears, smooth blonde villains, barefoot jobbers,  etc….  I was mesmerized in a way I didn’t understand.  Almost felt like one of those sadistic villains was applying a stomach claw on me the way my gut would churn.
It was especially the arrogant, dominant heels that had me hypnotized.  Strutting around the ring circling their fallen victim.  Trash-talking the loser and the crowd while the flexed with pride.  So completely pleased with himself, and continuing to beat-down his opponent even after his complete destruction.  There were also times when the hero had had enough and turned the tables. He’d have the heel on his knees in the corner begging for mercy.  Usually the face would hesitate just enough for the heel to get in a low blow or another illegal move and take charge again.
for me, wrestling was a case of desire preceding language.  I knew nothing about sexuality, and had no understanding of why I was responding to those wrestlers the way I was.  I guess among the many reasons I am drawn to wrestling,  the most powerful is domination and submission.  If you mix that with eroticism,  then it’s a home run for me.  Like many of us,  I grew up thinking I was the only guy who had these fantasies.  Starting in grade school wrestling magazines were my only porn. I remember in my 20s, I found an SM wrestling video at my local porn store.  Kid Leopard completely dominating a guy named something like Rusty Beyrs.  I couldn’t believe all those fantasies were being acted out by such a talented, amazing heel.
well, enough of that.  Thanks for mentioning Kid Fresh.  For me he is a pure classic.  Great and sexy in control as well as being dominated.  There isn’t an inch on him that isn’t sexy.  Have we ever seen him naked?
I feel a bit like a traitor because the more I re-watch X-Terminator’s past matches, the more hot I think he is.  He’s dominant, nasty, verbal, and not at all afraid of erotic abuse.  His match which, assisted by Lil Buck, he stretches a naked and pleadingBaby Boy across his lap for a humiliating spanking, his turning the tables on Titus’ attempted seduction to turning Titus into his butt-boy,  stripping and claiming Zulu with his big strong hands are just some examples.  His standing choke-hold finish against his opponents while he controls their crotch with the other is oneof the hottest finishing holds in BWN.  Used against A naked Inferno, and with his hand buried in Snake’s trunks was incredible.  It almost looked like they were both in an erotic swoon until X-Term clamped down on their balls to finish them off.
Hope someday to see him in an Idolatry match with someone who really got into worshipping him. Maybe Lil Buck as punishment for embarrassing TFS against Cubano and Storm/Willy.  Or maybe one of the prisoners of TFS—-promised of possible release if they can manage to please him.
Maybe one day he’ll stick that big toe in his victim’s mouth.
Brandon Cash:  this week I have been watching some past Brandon Cash matches.  I think I’ve heard in the past that he was straight.  If he is,  he seems like a great example of someone who eroticizes power and domination.  He seems completely turned on by controlling and humiliating his opponents nd verbally abusing them:  beating Chris, forcing him to kiss his foot, and them demanding a massage while he taunts him;  spanking Snake and forcing him to kiss his ass; beating Sherod, collaring and caging him—-then kicking back and jacking off while Sherod begs for mercy from his cage.
would be great to see Cash get even nastier with  wrestlers like Jigsaw or Quake.  Maybe ballbashing,  naked rimming, and burying his victim’s face in Cash’s sweat-dripping armpits.  Him sticking his foot into some jobbers mouth would be incredible.
I agree with you blkung1. One of the good things about getting older is we know who we are and confident in our interests. Looking at other gay wrestling sites, there are so few black wrestlers. I am grateful to BWN for standing by their decision to focus on talented, sexy black men.
It’s funny,  during the pandemic we were home all the time.  So I never had to worry about missing Friday night chat.  Sometimes had to steer zoom events to other nights.  Now that things have opened up,  it’s harder to keep Fridays clear.  But I am determinant to push things off to other nights to keep a part of this great community.
Friday night chats keep getting better.  More new fans joining in,  great photos and clips,  insights from Alex, and so many favorite—or un-favorite wrestlers joining in.  This week we had Willy King, TommyBoy, Hawk, Renegade, X-Terminator, and Cash Money.  Love em or hate me,  they sure make the chat room jump.
Very bad news about the capture of Leopard.  I guess the only thing that would get Tiger back to TFS is to save his brother.  This is another reason to join Friday night chats.  They get better and better; more guys joining in to share interest, fantasies, and to hear the latest on BWN.  Great pro clips along with sneak previews of some of BWN’s hottest upcoming matches.  One of the hottest things is how many wrestlers join to talk with their fans.  They are amazing.
Hey SW, Like you, I’m not really interested in intergender wrestling. But I think there are guys on here who are (going on comments from Friday night chat). I figure one of the great things about BWN is the wide-range of types of wrestlers and types of matches. I think most of us have our favorite wrestlers and formats, and some things we find less appealing. I am not that keen on Cracked UP (tickling) or oil wrestling (definitely in the minority here). But, I am so grateful for the availabilty of all the stuff I do like (and there is lots of it). Having access to so much hot action, I am glad that guys who are into tickling, or oil, or even intergender, can come to BWN to get their crank turned. The great thing about how everything is categorized, is we can easily give a miss to the stuff we’re not into. I won’t likely watch intergendered stuff—unless it turns out that Snake and Renegade have a sister!
Thanks for the post BFW.  Especially during these times when many of us are staying home and seeing fewer people,  I really look forward every week to Friday night chat.  I always wish I knew more about those when rarely, or never, join in the conversation.  I hope it’s that they just like to listen in, see photos, and clips—-and not that some of us (I mean me) talk too much.  It’s tough not to get excited by the conversation—in more ways than one.
